Public Education and Awareness
We provide culturally-informed public education and training to service providers, educators, and community groups in areas related to gender-based violence, family safety, and the intersection of culture and social networks.
Client Services
MRCSSI offers a wide range of culturally integrative services that support individuals and families impacted by and at risk of being affected by violence, trauma, and the challenges of settlement and integration.
Evidence-Informed Services
Grounded in lived experience and developed in collaboration with the community, MRCSSI programs aim to strengthen families, promote safety, and build resilient, empowered communities.
Community Development
Our community development work empowers individuals and groups to become agents of change. Through leadership development, capacity building, and collaborative partnerships, we support culturally grounded, community-led solutions.
Research
MRCSSI conducts community-based research that drives meaningful change. By centring lived experience and cultural knowledge, our research informs policies, improves services, and empowers racialized communities to shape solutions that reflect their realities and strengths.
CCIR
The Centre for Culturally Integrative Responses (CCIR) works to close gaps in policies and services by developing and implementing evidence-based, culturally responsive approaches to addressing family violence within diverse cultural contexts.
